Is Free really free?
Yes, forever. Capture, every mark-up tool including mosaic and emoji, Quick Capture, copy and save all work without paying. Paid features show a small lock. Click one to see what unlocking it costs.
Lifetime or Cloud?
Choose Cloud if you want a link with one key and no setup. It includes everything in Lifetime. Choose Lifetime to pay once for every frame, filter and colour and keep everything on your Mac. Lifetime has no uploads or links; owners can add Cloud later.
How does the Cloud free trial work?
Cloud starts with a free trial, then $7.99 a year. The app shows how long the trial lasts before you subscribe. Cancel anytime in App Store settings. Free and Lifetime users can try it too, once per Apple ID. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Why doesn't Lifetime include SnipSimple Cloud?
Storing and serving your links costs us money every month, for as long as you use them. A one-time price can't cover that forever, so the cloud is a small yearly subscription instead.
How many Macs can I use?
Works on every Mac signed in to your Apple ID — no device limit. Each Mac has its own upload history, and "Delete All" clears the Mac you run it on.
Do I need an account?
No. Purchases go through your Apple ID, and uploads use a random token stored on your Mac. See the privacy policy.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
